I had hired somebody else to do the work, but they only provided the pretty picture and not any HTML or CSS. I then posted the job offering on Upwork and got several responses. Dmitriy was willing to take a shot at the project for basically nothing - $5.00. He just wanted a chance. Curiously enough, of all the people who submitted samples, ONLY Dmitriy demonstrated exactly what I wanted. I hired him. He worked his tail off despite the 12 hour time difference and exceeded my expectations. I have proof. In the end, I paid him 40X what he wanted. I didn't have to - but he more than earned it.
